Tasks that write themselves
A departure creates a cleaning task. Nobody types it or has to remember it, and nobody has to be told twice. The person doing the work sees today first, then the week ahead. For the rest (the leaking tap, the trip to town, the deck to paint) the Tasks tab has an action list in color-coded categories: each task with a person, status, priority, due date and subtasks.
Everything below runs on an example lodge — the lodge, the guests and the numbers are all made up.
Made from the calendar
Change the stay and the task follows. There is no second list to keep in sync.
One screen, one job
Marisol opens the lodge’s team page, signs in with her own email, sees her rows and ticks them off. Nothing to install, no training — and you see “2 of 5 done”.
Done is a time, not a feeling
Each tick records who and when, so a question about last Tuesday has an answer.
What it doesn’t do
It is not Monday.com: no columns of your own, no formulas, no linked boards. A task’s Updates are for the team; you answer guests from Messages.
